Ping Chau 平洲
Me and Grace spent our last weekend on Ping Chau, a small island nearby the Lantau. The weather was nice and we took the trail to the mountain top.

Ferris Wheel
This Ferris Wheel just opened yesterday, it gives Hong Kong a fresh look and I wish Hong Kong will have a fresh look after the Umbrella movement.

At temple street
When people ask me how to shoot on the street (LCD or viewfinder), I always answer to shoot with what you are comfortable with and I use a a lot more with the LCD than the viewfinder. Last week, I just felt it is time to explore something new and started to shoot only with the viewfinder. I feel my photography has changed in a good way because I look more clear to the subject. Even though end result is still unknown, I feel it is a very good practice to improve my photography.

My Record from the Umbrella Revolution.. so far
For a last couple of weeks, I have spent quite a lot of energy to support the Umbrella Revolution and you may think I should took quite a lot of images, that was not the case. I spent most of the time just participate the demonstration and I was so emotion at a point I just didn't want to take any photos except concentrate on the demonstration. I started to took images after around the 10th days

Disadvantage of the Full Frame
There is no doubt Full Frame camera is the king of the 35mm format especially in Portrait and Landscape photography. Nothing is perfect, street photography require larger depth of field to show more story and background on the image, which means smaller sensor like APS-C is more suit for the job especially for the night shooter like myself. I shot F/2.8 at night and the out of focus area is always more than what I want with my M240.
I still like full frame camera but I just want to say there is no such perfect camera, just shoot with what you have and enjoy your photography journey.
Cheers

Vibrant effect
This is not double exposure or any post processing effect. I put my camera on the fence and the shock was created by the bus passing through.

Unexpected dating
We live quite far away from each other but she went to Tsuen Wan (the place that I live) to meet her family tonight and I somehow met her in the train without noticed. After we talked a while I put out my camera and told her I needed to take a shot for my blog post ^^

Rilakkuma and Snoopy
Those two were my gifts to Grace, she used to a Snoopy fan, until Rilakkuma became a hit couple years ago. I don't know why I took this shot but it gives me some wonderful memories of our relationship.

Street Photography advice from Grace
Grace told me the shot I posted on Flickr yesterday wasn't up to the standard. Actually this was the first time she talked about my work's quality and I was so glad to hear that. Thank you my darling, I will take your advice and improve on my photography.

Frame's frame
I wanted to shoot at a higher angle, but I wasn't tall enough…
Anyways, I do think this kind of framing is a good way to make interesting image and I'm for sure will try it again in the future.
